There's an issue with websites vs applications. When browsing an application users are happy to 'test click'. "Test click" is moving to an alternative page with the understanding there's a high likelihood they'll move back to the previous page.

The difference is of course in load speed. Applications allow users to move pages seamlessly whereas websites have a delayed load time. This creates a different browsing habit on websites that we don't believe benefits the user experience.
